1. Alpine lake village where Queen’s music flows
Lake Leman in Switzerland is an emerald lake created by melting Alpine glaciers, and its clear, clean water is excellent. Various attractions attract travelers, including the Grand Fountain of Geneva and the Freddie Mercury statue in Montreux. In addition, various tourist attractions where history, culture, and nature come together await, such as Chillon Castle, Lavaux Vineyard, and the Olympic Museum.

From camping at a closed school to healing programs, go on a special trip while enjoying nature and history in Namhae-gun.

3. October is the month of festivals… Enjoy fall with whiskey and classics
As we cross the threshold of fall, various festivals are coming to us. This week, Pernod Rica Korea is said to be participating in the ‘2024 Busan International Rock Festival’ and the ‘Grand Mint Festival 2024’. It is said that Maeil Dairies holds farming experiences and various events every weekend from the 5th to the 27th.

There are many lakes in Switzerland. Because the mountains are high, there is a lot of water. Water from melting glaciers in the Alps flows into rivers and creates lakes here and there. The largest lake among them is Lake Leman, located near the border with France in southwestern Switzerland. Switzerland, surrounded by the Alps, is a landlocked country without a sea, but thanks to Lake Leman, which exudes a Mediterranean atmosphere, it attracts travelers who enjoy the open view and romance.

The water of Lake Leman, where glaciers from the Alps flowed, is very clean and clear. If you get close to the emerald-colored lake, where the sun’s rays sparkle, you can clearly see not only the fish but also the bottom of the lake. With a length of 72 km and a width of 14 km, the crescent-shaped Lake Leman is the largest lake in the Alps. It takes 8 hours just to cycle around the circumference (195 km).

Even family members may have different wants. A father who loves the countryside, a mother who loves the sea, a son who wants to roll around in the mudflats, and a daughter who enjoys looking at flowers or walking with her pet. There are not many travel destinations that can satisfy all of these requirements. But there are places where it is possible. This is Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.

Namhae-gun, home to the country’s 5th largest island, is branded ‘Treasure Island’. It contains the meaning that the agricultural, fisheries, and livestock specialties and various local luxury goods produced here are precious treasures in daily life, and that the various history, culture, tourism, and recreational resources that Namhae-gun possesses are like treasures.

Autumn has taken the place of the long heat. As outdoor activities increase, various festivals are also attracting people. Food and beverage companies, which are inseparable from festivals, are participating in the long-awaited fall festival.

Pernod Ricard Korea announced that its affiliated whiskey brand ‘Jameson’ will participate as a sponsor product in the ‘2024 Busan International Rock Festival’ held at Samnak Ecological Park in Busan from the 4th to the 6th. During the festival, the highball bar in the booth sells a variety of products, including ‘Jameson Highball’ and camping mats.

Beer companies are also stepping up to support the upcoming festival. Tsingtao Beer plans to operate a booth consisting of various types of spaces, including F&B booths and lounge facilities, at the Busan International Rock Festival. Some companies have found consumers through their own music events.
