Odessa’s chief rabbi: “We will win because we have to” – Ukraine

Rabbi Avraham Wolff has served as Chief Rabbi of Odessa since 1998. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion throughout Ukraine in February 2022, he has been commuting between the Black Sea metropolis, the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Germany. There, the 52-year-old takes care of both the members of the Jewish community who have remained in the city and people whose escape he and his staff have been organizing since the outbreak of war to this day.
