Palladam: A team of officials inspected the Palladam regional fertilizer shops and advised the owners. The Department of Agriculture, Horticulture and Revenue Departments are inspecting the fertilizer shops.
The board containing the inventory and price list should be clearly visible in front of the shops. Farmers should not be forced to buy other agricultural inputs when selling fertilizers, including urea, in addition to paying the appropriate bill for the fertilizers being sold. Owners were advised that it was wrong to sell fertilizer without an Aadhar card. Previously, inventory details in fertilizer shops were checked. Agriculture Officer Venkatesh, Social Security Project Officer Sabapathy and Horticulture Officer Yashini participated in the inspection.
