Hapoel Holon continues to prepare for the next season. Shahar Amir, the 23-year-old guard of Maccabi Ramat Gan, today (Tuesday) concluded his terms for two years in the purple ranks.
The 23-year-old Amir is considered a great potential and this season scored 10.1 points (36.1% from beyond the arc) with 2.8 rebounds, a steal and 1.5 assists per game in the National League where he got 25.5 minutes per night. He is now moving up to the Premier League with Goodes’ boys, and unless something unexpected happens he will sign soon.
Amir could have stayed in Ramat Gan, but after the team definitively stayed in the top league, he looked for options in the top league. In doing so, he joins Holon’s renewed squad, which included, among other things, Shawn Dawson to strengthen the Israelis’ squad ahead of 2022/23.
