Maccabi Rishon LeZion today (Sunday) officially announced the appointment of Dror Cohen to the position of head coach. Cohen will replace Guy Goodes, who was fired due to the disappointing results.
In the previous five seasons, Cohen served as an assistant coach under Shmulik Brenner, Zvika Sharaf and Guy Goodes and took a large part in the club’s arrival in the most senior positions in Israeli basketball. Since 2017, he has also been working as an assistant coach of the Israeli national team.
