jpnn.com – Apple finally launched the iPhone 16 Series through the Apple Event in Cupertino, United States, Tuesday (10/9) evening.

The cellphone, which is marketed in two variants, namely the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, comes with a more minimalist and increasingly colorful design update.

The design overhaul is visible in the appearance of the camera layout which no longer has a boxy appearance.

The design looks more oval following the lenses embedded in both phones.

“iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus mark the beginning of a new era for iPhone with Apple Intelligence delivering powerful, personal and personalized experiences to our users,” said Apple’s VP of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing, Kaiann Drance in a statement, Tuesday.

In terms of specifications, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens using OLED screens designed using the latest generation of ceramics with an advanced formulation that is 50 percent harder than the first generation.

On the back, Apple designed the phone with a strong glass back material that is water and dust resistant.

Both phones are equipped with the A18 Bionic chip which is claimed to provide increased performance and efficiency.
