The prospective candidate pair for regent and deputy regent Teddy Meilwansyah and Marjito Bachri officially registered themselves with the Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) KPU on Thursday (29/8).
When registering to take part in the OKU Pilbup, Teddy and Marjito were directly accompanied by 15 supporting political parties along with volunteers and sympathizers who were ready to support the pair with the slogan BERTAJI (Clean, Devout, Trustworthy, Honest and Innovative).
In addition to submitting registration documents to the OKU KPU, the BERTAJI pair also submitted a vision and mission of superior programs for the progress of Bumi Sebantu Sekundang, the nickname for OKU.
The vision and mission of the BERTAJI pair offers concrete superior programs that directly address the needs of the community, especially in the field of education.
One of them is the school uniform program, bags, shoes and school stationery, all of which will be provided free of charge to students in OKU.
In addition, Teddy and Marjito will also provide scholarships for high-achieving students.
Teddy and Marjito really care and understand that education is a basic need that is the foundation for building the future of OKU Regency.
