/ The Iraqi Premier League competitions for the 2023-2024 season will start today, Friday, with five matches being held on the first day of the first group.
Samarra Stadium will host the match between Ahl Al Dar, Samarra Club, and its guest, Al Nasiriyah, and the match between Afak and its guest, Masafi Al Janoub, will be held at Afak Stadium.
The match between the Sulaymaniyah Peshmerga Club and its guest Maysan will take place at Farmandeh Stadium in Sulaymaniyah, and at Taji Stadium the match between Al-Etisalat Club and its guest Al-Karma will be held, and in Fallujah Stadium the match between Al-Fahd Club and its guest Al-Sharqat Club will be held.
Also today, the Iraqi Professional Futsal League for the 2023-2024 season will start with seven matches, and the teams of Amanat Baghdad and the Police will meet in the Youth Hall at two o’clock in the afternoon, and in the Youth Hall also the teams of Police Mechanisms and Masafi Al-Wasat will meet at four in the afternoon.
In the Solidarity Hall in Najaf, the Central Oil Team will meet its guest, Nineveh, at two o’clock in the afternoon, and the Water Resources Team will meet its guest, Al-Sharqiya, in the Youth Hall, at twelve o’clock in the afternoon.
In the Basra Oil Hall, the owners of the house will host the Basra Oil Club, its counterpart, the Popular Mobilization Forces, at two o’clock in the afternoon, and in the Basra Oil Hall, the Basra Youth will meet with the Basra Municipality at four o’clock in the afternoon.
Finally, the two air defense teams will meet with South Gas at two o’clock in the afternoon in the Army Club hall.
