The group ‘OH MY GIRL’ met their fans with a surprise busking event.
According to their agency RBW·WM Entertainment on the 25th, Oh My Girl held a special busking event at the outdoor stage of Yeouido Marina at 6 PM the previous day.
WM reported that despite the surprise announcement during the day, the site was packed with fans and the general public.
Oh My Girl, who led the crowd from the start with their representative songs ‘Nonstop’ and ‘Dun Dun Dance’, greeted the crowd by saying, “The support from Miracle (fandom) is no joke. It must be hot since it’s the end of summer, but thank you for cheering us on so enthusiastically.”
They also performed ‘Fifth Season (SSFWL)’, a song that showcases Oh My Girl’s signature, and ‘Secret Garden’, the song that brought them their first music show win.
Afterwards, they said, “Since it’s been a while since we had an outdoor concert, we wanted to busk to songs that sound like Oh My Girl’s story. We also thought a lot about how to give you songs that are good enough to blow away the heat,” and livened up the atmosphere with “Dolphin.”
With a new album coming out in two days, they presented their first live performance of the title song ‘Classified’ from their upcoming 10th mini album ‘Dreamy Resonance’.
Oh My Girl concluded by saying, “We gain confidence because fans say they like it. Hearing the reactions on site makes our promotions feel real, and I hope you feel happy every time you listen to this song. Please show us lots of love.” They ended the summer night with a festival atmosphere with “Fireworks.”
‘Dreamy Resonance’ will be released on music platforms at 6 PM on the 26th.
