Oil announces advanced completion rates in Al-Faihaa field development project

The Ministry of Oil announced today, Tuesday, that it has achieved advanced rates of completion in the Al-Faihaa field development project.

The Ministry’s Media and Government Communication Office said in a statement received by the (INA): “The Undersecretary of the Ministry for Extraction Affairs, Basem Muhammad Khader, received today, Tuesday, the CEO of Kuwait Energy Company in Iraq, Song Yu, and the Director General of the Petroleum Contracts and Licensing Department, Basem Taher.”
He added, “During the meeting, the current production of the Al-Faiha oil field and its development plans were reviewed, and the rates of achievement achieved in the project to establish the central gas processing plant were discussed.”
Khader stressed “the importance of this vital project, the completion rate of which has reached 88 percent,” indicating that “its implementation will be completed within the specified timeframes.”
