Oil prices expected to rise to $100 per barrel!

Brent oil prices were traded today at $81.50 per barrel.

In this context, expert Oleg Abilev, head of the analysis department at Recom Trust, identified a group of factors that will push oil prices in global markets to rise to $90 or even $100 per barrel.

“This scenario is possible if several factors come together, such as a sharp decline in US oil stocks due to the cold weather next winter, an escalation of the confrontation in Ukraine, and an increase in the intensity of the conflict in the Middle East, which will fuel fears of disruption of black gold supplies,” the energy market expert told Novosti.

Abilev added: “Other factors that will contribute to the rise in prices, the expert spoke about the commitment of all countries participating in the OPEC+ agreement to the cuts stipulated in the agreement or to deepen the cuts further, in addition to the continued suspension of production and exports in Libya.”

Crude futures rose yesterday by more than 3% after the halt of oil production and exports from Libya, a member of OPEC.
