The price of oil is expected to decline compared to last year, based on the first estimates.

The journalist Nikos Katsarosspeaking on the Nautemporikis channel and the show ON POLITICS with journalist Filippos Filippakopoulos, mentioned that “the trends are downward, that’s a given. The first harvest down in Laconia has already taken place. The price given – still has not been officially announced – will be 15-20% below last year to the producer”.

As he said, “the price held and sold now, before the new oil came out, sold close to 30% below the highs it hit last year.”

“There is a significant increase in production, as estimated by market people, which will be more than 50%. Last year we had 150 thousand tons and this year we are going for 250 thousand tons“, he added.

So, based on the current data and the first estimates, the price of oil is expected to move under 10 euros.
