Green light to the decree law extending the terms. The Council of Ministers, after meeting on the morning of April 29, gave the ok to new deadlines and change of rules for smart working in the PA, more time for the government to exercise golden power in some sectors and extension of the documents of expired identities during the pandemic valid until September. According to the draft circulated before the start of the CDM, the text consists of 11 articles (there were 6 in the first versions). Among the measures, also the extension until the end of 2021 to take the exam for the driving license. On the other hand, there is no space for the regulation on beach concessions, while some issues remain pending in the draft, such as the new stop to the tax bills frozen until April 30 by emergency measures. The hypothesis on the table is a new postponement until the end of July, that is when the state of emergency should end. If approved, the measure could be included in the upcoming Sostegni bis decree. While the Council of Ministers updated in the afternoon for the approval of the final 248 billion National Recovery and Resilience Plan, let’s see what are the main items contained in the draft and also the major absentees.
