The Dutchman won this Thursday, March 9 the fifth Paris-Nice during a massive sprint in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux in the Drôme, ahead of the Dane Mads Pedersen and the Belgian Tim Merlier, after 212 km of race. Slovenian Tadej Pogacar retains the leader’s yellow jersey. Friday, the race arrives at La Colle-sur-Loup, before a final weekend in the Nice region which promises to be much more lively than the slow procession towards Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux.
