Chinnammal (age 65) hails from Noothapur, near Veppanthatta, Perambalur district. On the 21st, he went to Billangulam from Nuthapur on a motorcycle with his cousin Nagaraj.
While going to Billangulam area, Chinnammal fell down from the motorcycle when the dog came across him. He was seriously injured and was being treated at the Salem Government Hospital. However, he died there without treatment. Kai Kalathur police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
