Oleg Menshikov admitted that he was in a coma for a week

Oleg Menshikov, a 60-year-old Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, theater director and teacher, star of the films “Pokrovskie Vorota” and “Burnt by the Sun”, revealed the secret of what happened to him last winter, when the media reported about the artist’s hospitalization. Then Menshikov appeared at one of the events with a cane and told reporters that everything was fine with him. But it turned out that his life was hanging by a thread.

As Menshikov said on the air of the Youtube show “Sveta around the world”, he was preparing for a simple operation, but everything did not go according to plan, and he spent a week in a coma.

“It went wrong to such an extent that my blood pressure drops, my heart stops, and I am in a coma for a week,” he said. Menshikov said that at some point the doctors warned his wife Anastasia that he needed to prepare for the worst. Nevertheless, the doctors managed to stabilize the patient’s condition.

“They’ve been dragged out of the other world, and this is not the first time,” Menshikov noted, giving the doctors the lowest bow.

The artist also said that the coma was not artificial, but he did not see any light at the end of the tunnel. At the same time, according to Menshikov, he flew in this state, was at premieres, in space, on some kind of ship and at a crazy performance with murders.

The actor also explained that then he did not talk about what happened to him, in order to first comprehend everything himself, because he came out of a coma with a greatly changed and with a new outlook on life.
