Olot’s performing arts program will include two creative universes. The first will be dedicated to discovering the work of Xavier Ruscalleda, who will bring two shows and a film to Olot, and the second will be the Marta Izquierdo Muñoz Universe, with the Guèrrillères show and the Yolo project, a dance initiative contemporary with Calan and Occitan teenagers.
As for the rest of the programming, it will include some of the titles already announced a few months ago, such as La dona del tercer sesuda, with Àurea Márquez; Mother of sugar, by Clàudia Cedó or Sonoma de La Veronal. As for the LAPs, the contemporary creation proposals will include Hermaphrodites on horseback or the rebellion of desire, Orpheus or a Musical LAP with the show Me&Magdalena. There will also be circus, with the Vöel company, and dance, with El Trencanous from the Barcelona Ballet.
In terms of music, Albert Pla, Andrea Motis or the GIO Christmas Concert are some of the shows announced.
In total, Olot will host more than a hundred cultural activities in theatre, music, dance and exhibitions until the end of the year. In relation to the festivals, the first to arrive will be Entranyes, from October 20 to 23, and then there will be Lluèrnia, ElPetit and El Petit Format.
General ticket sales start on Monday 19th.
