Olympia Ljubljana of the Slovenian Premier League took an interest in Guy Badash and approached him to open negotiations to examine the possibility that the midfielder would join its ranks next season. Badash was invited by the decorated club to visit the city and the stadium and get to know the club and its people. The player, who holds a contract for another season at Hapoel Jerusalem, is currently waiting for an official offer from the Slovenes.
Ahead of next season, Ruslan Bersky, who has signed with the club for another season, is expected to receive financial compensation and be released when the main option he currently faces is Bnei Reina, although his name also came up as an option to return to Hapoel Haifa.
