Olympiacos activates the… bomb of Evans Fournier!

As reported by Nikos Zervas on bwinSPOR FM 94.6, the “red-and-whites” have reached a definitive agreement with the French guard/forward, who is returning to Europe after 12 years of a successful career in the NBA.

According to information, the 31-year-old’s contract with the Piraeus team will be for two years, with an option to renew for another year, and he will be paid approximately 2.5 million euros annually. Meanwhile, the French player had offers from Armani Milan and Villeurbanne, but ultimately accepted the proposal from the “red-and-whites”.

Aside from that, the upcoming transfer of Evans Fournier will also bring some departures from Olympiacos.

The first to go will be Filip Petrusev, who is expected to be loaned out to Red Star. In fact, according to the information from the reporter of the “red-and-whites”, it is likely that the management will invite the Serbian forward for an early extension of their collaboration.

Additionally, it is possible that there will be another departure, with the favorite being Shakir McKissic. The American guard/forward is one of the more “veteran” players on the team, but with the arrival of the French star, his playing time will decrease even further. Therefore, he is likely to be the next to leave, while there has already been a lot of “hot” interest from Monaco this summer.
