This is the third Olympic medal for Charline Picon (39), who has already won two in windsurfing, gold in Rio in 2016 and silver in 2021 in Tokyo. On the other hand, it was the first medal for Sarah Steyaert (37 years old).
This bronze medal, the first of these Games for the French crew, was the 28th for the French representative. Picon and Steyaert are at the top of the general classification after 12 series regattas.
