Olympus, which changed its name to OM System, has launched the new OM-5 camera, which has a dust-, dust- and splash-proof body with a protection class IP53.

The Japanese company explained that the technical equipment package in the camera includes a Micro Four Thirds sensor with a accuracy of 20.1 megapixels, with an electronic viewfinder with a resolution of 2.36 million pixels and a foldable screen with a resolution of 1.05 million pixels.

The camera features a battery, an SD memory card reader, and a speed of 10 frames per second, in addition to 121 autofocus points with improved face recognition function.

It is also packed with many advanced technologies, such as the TruePic IX processor, which provides many functions such as a 50-megapixel super-resolution mode, which allows multiple images to be combined without the need for a tripod, and sensor-based image stabilization with longer exposure times of up to 7.5 degrees aperture.

The camera allows 4K video recording at 30 frames per second, and 1080p slow-motion video recording at 120 frames per second.
