A week after correcting Sporting at the Vélodrome, Olympique de Marseille did it again on Wednesday in Lisbon (0-2). A second victory in Group D of the Champions League which completely revives the chances of the Marseillais to reach the knockout stages.
The renaissance operation continues for OM. The Marseillais won a second consecutive victory on Wednesday October 12 against Sporting Portugal (0-2) which completely revived them in the race for the round of 16. They are now second in the group, behind Tottenham, winner against Frankfurt.
In a José Alvalade stadium that was not completely full but largely animated by the French supporters who had made the trip, OM quickly took over the match.
