Muscat: Oman ranks among the most beautiful countries in the world. Oman was included in the list of 18 countries prepared by ‘Veranda’, a US-based design and lifestyle magazine.
Maldives is first and Costa Rica is second in the list. Other countries are Tanzania, US, Peru, Japan, Iceland, Kenya, Thailand, Namibia, Greece, New Zealand, Chile, Italy, Vietnam, Switzerland, Canada and Oman. The magazine mentions the traditional ways and culture of Oman. It also features Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and traditional Omani cuisine. The report also highlights the natural beauty of Oman’s mountains such as Jabal Akhdar. From high mountains and sandy coastlines to urban centers, Oman presents itself as a stunning destination.
