Oman wins World Travel Awards Oman bagged nine awards in the travel and tourism sector.
More than 200 representatives of airlines, hotels and international tourism companies participated in the awards held in collaboration with Oman Airport.
Minister of Heritage and Tourism Salim Mohammed Al Mahrooqi inaugurated the award ceremony held at Al Bustan Palace Hotel. In the 29th edition of the World Travel Awards, 69 awards were distributed in 50 countries.
It is also an opportunity to showcase Oman’s rich culture and heritage to guests. Oman has won many awards in the travel and tourism sector over the years. The travel and tourism industry has become one of the most important economic sectors in which countries around the world compete.
