Muscat: In the first half of this year, there was a 16.2 percent increase in Oman’s oil exports, according to the report of the National Situation Information Center. This is the figure till the end of June 2022.

China is the largest importer of oil from Oman. China has imported 123.10 million barrels of oil from Oman till the end of June 2022.

The Sultanate’s total natural gas domestic production (including imports) increased by 4.4 percent. The figure till the end of June 2022 is 25.77 billion cubic meters. It was 24.69 billion cubic meters during the same period last year.

The country’s daily oil production has increased by 9.7 percent during this period. Daily production is 1.047 million barrels. It was 9,54,900 barrels during the same period in 2021. In the period till the end of June this year, the oil price reached 90.4 dollars per barrel. This is 60.9 percent higher than the same period last year.
