London: The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that Omicron, a new variant of the corona virus, has a high potential for transmission. However, no deaths have been reported so far. More than 185 cases were reported in 16 countries. South Africa has the highest – 110.
Omikron has confirmed 13 members of a football club in Portugal and six people who have never traveled abroad in Scotland. Following Israel, Japan and Morocco banned foreigners and closed the border. Australia extends air ban until December 15 Indonesia also bans travelers from Hong Kong.
