Omicron increase; Possibility to tighten restrictions

The review meeting will be chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today in the backdrop of the increasing number of Omikron and Kovid cases in the state. This meeting will discuss whether further restrictions should be imposed. The night curfew imposed in the state from December 31 to January 2 was lifted in the wake of the Omicron expansion. But the regulation is likely to be tightened in the wake of the rising number of omicron cases in the state.
