Kovid was positive and was admitted to the hospital, where the sample was sent for further testing. Within three days of being admitted to the hospital, he was discharged and returned home. The doctor took two doses of the vaccine. He had direct contact with 13 people and indirect contact with 250 people.

The South African who confirmed the Omicron variant has left India. The 66-year-old went to Dubai. He came to India with a Kovid 19 negative certificate. But on examination Kovid turned out to be positive. He arrived in India on November 20.

On subsequent examination, Kovid tested positive. Kovid tested negative after staying at the hotel quarantine for a week. He was tested in a private lab. He left for Dubai on the night of November 27 after the negative. Omikron was first confirmed to be in South Africa, so his sample was sent back for testing on November 22nd. But he left the country before the results came.
