The BCCI sources said that the spread of the corona virus is being closely monitored and no decision has been taken yet on the venue of the match. Although the IPL 2022 schedule has not been officially announced yet, the season is expected to start in early April. Sources said the BCCI sources said that if the corona increased during the IPL days, the ‘Plan B’, including hosting the IPL abroad, would be discussed at that time and the state governments would have to look into what kind of guidelines they would provide.
