In this case, the first case of omigran corona was reported in South Africa. Following this, it has started spreading to various countries. Governments around the world have since canceled flights to infected countries.

It has been confirmed that 2 people in Karnataka, India are affected by Omigron. In this case, Omigron has spread to a total of 29 countries around the world, affecting 373 people. These include South Africa, the Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan. The list has recently expanded to include Ghana, Nigeria, Norway, Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
