The Palazzo delle Arti, in the heart of the picturesque town of Bassano del Grappa, will host the new edition of the Amedeo Modigliani Foundation Prize, an international competition that offers the most talented artists on the lively contemporary scene the opportunity to exhibit their works to the public and critics artistic productions, reserving a prominent place on the international scene.

The historic Palazzo delle Arti is one of the cultural poles of the city, which hosts exhibitions and cultural events of all kinds, a multipurpose center with a conference room, music room, library, exhibition spaces and more. A place designed for art, a reference point for new talents and for interesting initiatives aimed at promoting art in the area, but also across the border.

Curated by Salvo Nugnes, the Modigliani prize makes use of the contribution of the art critic Vittorio Sgarbi: it returns after the success of the previous editions, addressing “poets, painters, photographers, sculptors who want to tell their art and create a prestigious showcase for eyes of users and art lovers”. The recognition is named after one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century, the Livorno painter Amedeo Modigliani, who developed an unmistakable style depicting sensual female nudes and mysterious faces of women with long necks.
