Zsolt Semjén initiated an extraordinary parliamentary session for this very day, where the proposal of the status law can be discussed.

Friday afternoon at five o’clock organize demonstration by the United Student Front and the Tanítanék Movement. This was announced on Monday evening, after it was revealed that the so-called status law rewriting the legal status of teachers could be discussed by the parliament as early as Friday, in an extraordinary session.

The Kordon government submitted its revenge law in the parliament. Democracy is being played on the basis of compromises, but no essential changes have been made!

– write the event organizers.

As we wrote earlier, on Monday morning the Fidesz faction informed Atv.hu that they plan to discuss the status law proposal submitted last Tuesday in the parliament on a normal schedule. However, the Tanítanék Mozgalom and the United Student Front requested permission to occupy territory for demonstrations in front of the Parliament for the whole week, after they feared that the parliament could urgently vote on the status law already this week.

On Monday afternoon, a document published on the website of the Parliament revealed that Zsolt Semjen Deputy Prime Minister initiated an extraordinary parliamentary session on behalf of the government on Friday. At this extraordinary meeting, it is expected that the draft of the status law will also be discussed, although it is by no means the only one.

They have already taken so much, and now even personal freedom is being threatened

– say the organizers of Friday’s demonstration, according to whom more than five thousand teachers would resign if the law were voted on.
