Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade has passed away – social media is abuzz with this news. His fans were surprised by the sudden spread of this news. But the news of Shreyas death is not true. Shreyas said in an Instagram post that he is alive and well.
In a statement, Shreyas Talpade wrote, ‘I want to confirm that I am alive, well and well. I am aware that the news of my death has gone viral. This news is being misused. This can cause real damage. Some are joking about it, some are worried. Especially my family.’
Shreyas’s little daughter is frightened by her father’s false news. Informing that, Shreyas wrote, ‘My younger daughter goes to school every day, meanwhile she is worried about my health. He keeps asking me questions. The fake news deepens the fear inside him. Facing questions from school teachers and classmates too.’
Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack on December 14 last year. He was then admitted to Bellevue Hospital in West Andheri, Mumbai. 47-year-old Shreyas underwent angioplasty. Later, the actor returned home after recovering.
Shreyas earned critical acclaim by acting in Hindi and Marathi language films. Besides, his movies also responded well at the box office. Shreyas Talpade acted in more than 45 films in an acting career spanning two decades. His notable films are – ‘Om Shanti Om’, ‘Golmaal Returns’, ‘Housefull Two’ etc.
