San Salvador. The Legislative Assembly granted the night of Tuesday, June 20, a national holiday for July 7, due to the closing of the XXIV Central American and Caribbean Sports Games.
Meanwhile, for this Friday, June 23, the date on which said games will be inaugurated, the deputies agreed that public, municipal and autonomous employees of the San Salvador Metropolitan Area (AMSS) work until 2:00 p.m.
They also defined that on Thursday, July 6, in view of the skating competitions, on Los Héroes boulevard; and cycling, on Avenida Masferrer Norte, Avenida Jerusalén, Pedregal and El Espino streets, work activity will be done through teleworking and public and private universities must give virtual classes, only at the AMSS.
