Regarding Sweden’s ratification process, Stoltenberg clarified that Hungary will not vote for Sweden on Monday, but will continue to work towards its ratification in the future. However, the timeline for Sweden’s approval remains uncertain. After the press conference, Stoltenberg spoke with TT and SR Ekot, confirming Hungary’s stance on the matter.

– I spoke this morning with Hungary’s foreign minister Peter Szijjarto and he confirmed that there will be a vote on March 27 in the Hungarian parliament on the ratification of Finland and we will then work further to make progress on the ratification for Sweden, says Stoltenberg.

After the press conference, Stoltenberg confirms to TT and SR Ekot that Hungary will not vote for Sweden on Monday.

– They continue (the process with Sweden), but (vote) not on Monday, says Stoltenberg in passing on his way to a television appearance.
