According to the review of the data of the Central Bank, in the first 14 days of this month of September, the amount of remittances received in the country was 29.72 lakh 70 thousand dollars through state-owned banks, 4 crore 99 lakh 80 thousand US dollars through a specialized bank, 4 crore 99 lakh 80 thousand US dollars came through private banks. 81 crore 69 lakh 40 thousand dollars and 3 million US dollars remittance came through foreign banks.

In the first month of the fiscal year 2024-25, July, remittances of US$ 191,358,000 have arrived in the country. Which is lowest in previous 10 months. Earlier in September 2023, remittances came in at $1.33 billion. Last August, remittances to the country reached 221 crore 58 lakh 80 thousand dollars.
