Le 13 Heures sets out to discover, on Tuesday 5 September, an exceptional hike on the coast of Northern Ireland. A walk at the foot of the cliffs that combines nature and tradition, and offers a breathtaking landscape.

In Northern Ireland, the coast reveals all its wild charms to the most seasoned hikers. Its most emblematic site, known as the Giant’s Causeway, intrigues thousands of tourists every year with its 40,000 basalt columns created by volcanic activity. Beyond its busiest paths, the coast road stretches for more than 300 kilometres. It conceals treasures hidden on the side of cliffs. To discover them, the helmet is compulsory and the hike is accompanied, because these black rocks regularly continue their course towards the waves.

Centennial traditions to discover

In this paradise of birds and marine animals, hikers have come to seek a raw, unpredictable and above all preserved nature. Returning to the coastal road, hikers will obviously find a path dotted with natural beauty, but also centuries-old traditions with whiskey distilleries and traditional pubs, where typical Irish sounds resound almost every evening.
