On the frequency: the moment when the chirping thresholds will not be forgotten and the moment when Pikachu is beaten

Chiseling thresholds

Who am I and what do I frequent?
Musician, creator, trumpet player and selector. Appears and records at Romano House, and recently also advises on artistic content from time to time, especially around the glorious line “Jazz is cool” brewed by my brother and friends Tzach Bar. RegardingWhat I’m going through at Romano House – or rather all the people who make Romano House what it is – is not my job to say. I hope that from now on from the first day and also in the next future upon us for good, this place on its people will be seen in me as a partner in fulfilling dreams, part of the family and the amazing energy that this place produces.

When did I know the frequency?
From day one.

What is my favorite spot in the complex and why?
Every time I walk in the doors of this factory, and I intentionally use the word factory, I get thrilled. As of this moment, the record store and music room Nuweiba is my spot. I can be there all day, easily. A paradise of music, wooden walls, sound and records of course.

The most delusional thing I have encountered in frequency?
Oh! There were quite a few, and it’s good that way. One of them sure was on the drunken piano evenings in Romano. It’s very late, and suddenly a muscular guy with a skullcap who turned out to be a cantor goes up to the song “And gave validity” along with my friend Nitai Hershkovitz, in the middle of the hall jazz-punk jam. It was an event piece.

The most memorable event that was here?
Due to the fact that the Romano House has had endless content for years, I was privileged to see and attend several events that the city has never seen before. Hard to rate, but I can say that personally there are two that I will take with me all my life. One is My performance, which was dedicated to the music of Donald Byrd at the 80th anniversary celebrations of the jazz label Blue Note. At the end of the show a choir came up to join us on stage, and as soon as they started singing the sky opened up and it started to rain. I’m shivering just to remember that. The other was See from the crowd, and then go up and play with Tony Allen, the Nigerian drummer whose hands and feet invented the Afro Beat. It was a moment I will never forget and a first-rate personal summit. I certainly did not mention here thousands more moments that will pop up in my memory as soon as I read the article.

My favorite food dish on the frequency?
Easy question – pizza.

What do I like most about the night in Tel Aviv?
That everything is within walking distance.

The best show that has not yet come here
A painful question, because many artists will not come in the near future, so I will answer with a wish: I wish all the most cutting edge artists in the Arab world around us, and there are some, would come to perform here. I would love to sit down with them for pizza after the set and talk about life.

Michael Liani

What is my favorite spot in the complex and why?
The Nuweiba. It feels like a refuge from the crowds, always pleasant, with good music and also has Kobe.

What do I like most about the night in Tel Aviv?
That there is no knowing what he will bring with him. This is the charm of Tel Aviv, and the Romano complex has a very significant part in Tel Aviv culture. I hope all the economic changes and real estate changes in the city will not take the magic away from it, because it is towards.
