Another ambitious national production that has chosen the Marche region to shoot a new film. The shooting of Tradita, produced by Mattia’s film, directed by Gabriele Altobelli and with creative direction by Alberto Tarallo, is now halfway through. It will be distributed in 2025 in over 200 theaters and also intended for the international market.

The protagonist is one of the most beloved faces of Italian cinema, Manuela Arcuri, accompanied by the Spanish actor Fernando Lindez. The actors also include Giancarlo Giannini and William Levy. Yesterday afternoon the president of the Fondazione Marche Cultura Andrea Agostini visited the set, after the presentation of the project to the press in Jesi, together with the mayor Lorenzo Fiordelmondo, the councilor for Culture of the municipality of Jesi Alessandro Tesei and the cast. The filming involves, in addition to Jesi, the municipalities of Ancona, Senigallia, San Marcello, Filottrano and Monte Roberto.

I had a great time in Le Marche – he stressed Manuel ArcuriI didn’t know much about them, I discovered a truly beautiful land that lends itself very well to a variety of cinematic scenarios, because it has sea, mountains, works of art, wonderful villas. The people are truly welcoming and hospitable. I care a lot about this film, a compelling story that marks my return to cinema”.

I’m originally from the Marche region but I’ve never worked there – said the director Gabriele Altobelli I had attended the Cannes Film Festival at the presentation of the projects from the Marche region in the sector. I proposed to the production to shoot here, an idea I had while passing through Casenuove di Osimo, my mother’s birthplace”. Co-star Fernando Lindez also confirms “of having found beautiful and welcoming places, from cities to beaches, with extraordinary gastronomy”. Producer Alberto Tarallo highlights “the locations of Conero that have nothing to envy of Sardinia, like the beautiful villas of the villages of the Marche. We couldn’t have found a better welcome”.

The President of the Marche Culture Foundation Andrea Agostini remember “the 16 million euros, at the instigation of President Francesco Acquaroli, that the Marche, with the Pr-Fesr funds, have invested in cinema. We have been good at putting these resources to work, we have already allocated 8 and now another three. But it is not the only action that we are carrying out to enhance the Marche. The protocol on film tourism with the municipalities of Vallesina is an excellent example of which today, with this production, we are seeing the results. A set that arrives in our villages moves dozens of people who live in the area for months, there is an immediate return for the induced, followed by that of image, in addition to the opportunity for many Marche people to work in cinema, because finally here too important projects are filmed continuously”.
