On Purim, the residents of Rehovot can expect a wide variety of shows and activities for the whole family with the main stages in Founders’ Park: Lake Bohbot, the Little Michal, the Purim Rave for youth, the neighborhood events of the Experience Network with Purim parties and balls, workshops, plays, the navigation game and more surprises.

Purim SHOW: Michal HaKtana and Bohbot Lake – two events and a carnival of talents in the streets
A colorful and interactive Purim event for the whole family, will be held on Tuesday, March 7, at the Founders Park
In the morning, between the hours of 14:30 and 10:00, the Founders’ Park will become a huge complex of shows, including a show by the children’s star Michal the Little, acrobats and aerialists. A variety of activity complexes will be set up in the place – inflatables, Tiktok, amusement park pavilions and more. Throughout the park, there will be a variety of amusement facilities, creations and attractions in several complexes: a huge and well-designed Tiktok complex where videos will be uploaded to Tiktok and tagged, with the videos gaining exposure from their viewers on social networks, a SpongeBob complex that includes trampolines and slides for adults and children, inflatable amusement park pavilions with prizes, a ninja complex that includes Climbing wall inflatables and challenge ladders, as well as a challenge course for preschoolers, a craft area with a variety of masks for Purim and a gymboree area for the little ones. Also, a multimedia complex where a selection of computer games will be offered, an ATV complex, a galloping horse complex, trampolines and more.
In the evening, starting at 20:00, the park will be available to the youth with RAVE Purim, during which the successful singer Agam Bohbot and the leading DJ Gal Malka will appear on the park stage.

The navigation game
The municipality of Rehovot and the municipal society invite the residents of the city of Rehovot and the surrounding area to a fun and constructive family navigation game between the streets of the city, on Wednesday, March 8, the Purim holiday. The launch in the Founders Park, between the hours of 10:00 and 9:00. The length of the route is up to 2.5 km and the duration of the game is about an hour and a half. Ofer Rehovot Mall, from the Ofer Malls Group, will hold a creative complex on the theme of a masked ball, including workshops for children, during Purim. The complex will be open to the general public on March 7-8, (Tuesdays and Wednesdays), in the morning between 11:00 and 14:00 and in the afternoon between 16:00 and 19:00. A stick made of sugar dough, designing eye masks for the prom, making a pot of sweets as a delivery of dishes, and more. Every day, two workshops will be held in the complex throughout the hours of operation. All the creations will be decorated with a variety of additions, ribbons, feathers, beads, colorful sequins and stickers for a happy and humorous Purim.

Ofer Billo Center Outlet, from the Ofer Malls Group, will hold during the Purim holiday, plays, shows, workshops and the reading of the Megillah for children in collaboration with Chabad, open to the general public – free of charge.
The activities for the whole family will be held during the Purim holiday on March 7, 2023, starting at 1:00 p.m.: creative workshops, a make-up station and face decorations, at 5:00 p.m. there will be a presentation of “The Disguised Egg” – the story of an egg that is not satisfied with itself, does not know who it is and what its role is in the world . During the play she turns, hesitates, rolls and disguises herself until she finally returns to her mother hen, who gives her the warmth and love she was looking for, and a chick hatches from the egg. In addition, at 18:00 the reading of the scroll will begin in the children’s area.
Also on 08.03.23 from 12:00 there will be crafting workshops, make-up stations, photographing magnets, package deliveries and at every round hour the scroll will be read to the children. At 1:30 p.m., Vitali the magician’s show will hold an entertainment show of illusions and magic with special equipment that has not been seen in Israel.
