Salvadoran beaches continue to be a strong global reference in the field of surfing, which is why the International Surfing Association (ISA) announced that the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship 2024 will take place on the beautiful coasts of El Salvador.
The twentieth edition of the Youth World Cup will take place next May 3 to May 12, on the beaches of El Sunzal and La Bocana.
This will be the second time that a global tournament will be held in El Salvador, after the event held last 2022. In the last edition it was won by Luke Swanson in the under-18 men’s division and Willis Droomer under-16.
In the female category, Ewlejula Wong sub-18 and the Canadian Erin Brooks sub-18 were crowned.
Thanks to the efforts of the Government of President Nayib Bukele, the national territory continues to host various world-class events, allowing it to be projected as one of the best tourist destinations in the world.
