After a long public darshan till 11.30 am, the funeral procession carrying the dead body left. The body will be taken to the Iringalakuda Town Hall in the afternoon and will be placed there for public viewing. Will be taken home in the evening. Innocent, who came to the silver screen in 1972 with the film Nrythishala, grabbed attention as a comedian and character actor. Innocent’s distinctive body language and Thrissur-style dialogue became the hallmarks of Innocent. The whole of Kerala took over the actor. Innocent was also the president of Amma, a film actors’ association. Innocent was also able to shine in politics. Innocent played notable roles in Malayalam films like ‘Makal’ and ‘Katuva’ released in 2022. He also acted in the movie ‘Pachuvum Mihawavilakum’ directed by Akhil Sathyan starring Fahadh Faasil. He has acted in about 750 films.
