jpnn.comBALI - The 4th National Festival (FK) with the theme ‘The Enchantment of the Land of the Gods, Inspiration for the Harmony of the Archipelago’ will be held at Udayana University Bali on Saturday, December 14 2024.
The festival aims to strengthen awareness of the values of Pancasila as an ideology and national identity, especially among the younger generation and to make the campus a strategic institution capable of activating this awareness.
Apart from that, the 2024 National Festival is also designed to celebrate Indonesia’s cultural diversity through a series of events involving various elements of society, from the academic community, musicians, artists, cultural figures, academics to the general public.
Various activities that prioritize creativity,innovation and collaboration are held at this festival,namely,national dialogue,innovation & pop art market exhibition,short video competition,music coaching clinic and short video making and also a national music concert.
This time the National Dialogue raised the theme Music Reaches and Activates the Soul, held at 09:30-12:00 WITA in the Rectorate Hall of Udayana University.
A number of well-known speakers from artists, cultural figures, academics and educational practitioners will be presented in the National Dialogue.
Among others, namely Prof.Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST, Ph.D (Chancellor of Udayana University), Novia Bachmid (singer), Alffy Rev (composer and music producer), Tommy F. Awuy (FIB UI philosophy lecturer), and Onc Mekel (singer, musician, administrator PAPPRI and Member of the DPR RI Commission X), and moderated by Dr. Ngatawi Al Zastrouw, an academic, cultural observer and religious figure.
According to Prof. Ir.I Ketut Sudarsana, Chancellor of Udayana University, the 2024 National Festival is not just an entertainment event, but is a real manifestation of Udayana University’s commitment to being part of unifying the nation.

Dr. Ngatawi: It’s extremely crucial. Pancasila encapsulates the philosophical foundation of Indonesia. By strengthening awareness among the youth, we ensure that they not only understand their national identity but also appreciate the diverse cultural heritage that comes with it. Events like this festival act as a bridge, linking the past with modern interpretations of our cultural values.

Dr. Ngatawi: Certainly! Apart from the National Dialogue, we have several exciting activities planned, including an innovation and pop art market exhibition and a music coaching clinic. The theme of our National Dialogue, “Music Reaches and Activates the Soul,” features prominent figures from various fields, promoting interdisciplinary discussions. We aim to engage the audience in a way that not only entertains but stimulates creativity and collaboration across the community.
