The Directorate of Civil Aviation has reported a 47 per cent increase in the number of domestic air passengers in September.
The total number of domestic air passengers increased by 47 percent to 1.03 crore in September 2022 over September 2021.
The number of domestic air passengers increased by 2 percent in September 2022 compared to August.
The seat fill ratio of passenger flights of all carriers increased to 77 percent in September from 72.5 percent in August.
IndiGo, the number one airline, had a market share of 57.7 percent in September.
Vistara is second with 9.6 percent market share and Air India is third with 8.7 percent market share.
Vistara ranks first with an on-time flight rate of 91 percent.
