One day after the electoral defeat, Amado Boudou, Alicia Castro and Gabriel Mariotto launch their political space

by time news

After the legislative elections that concluded this Sunday – with a marked defeat of the ruling party at the national level – the former vice president of Cristina Kirchner, Amado Boudou, announced the creation of his own political space made up of the former ambassador of Venezuela Alicia castro and Gabriel mariotto, former head of the AFSCA.

Boudou, who is on probation, confirmed the creation of the bloc this Monday in dialogue with AM 530: “It is done without anyone losing their identity, without anyone wanting to do something bombastic. It is simply a set of many colleagues who want to follow the same line. The space would be called Sovereigns“, he revealed.

The disseminated flyers indicate that the space will be titled “Sobernxs”, in the search for an inclusive language.

The official presentation will be this Saturday, November 20 at 4:00 p.m., a date chosen on purpose because it is the day on which National Sovereignty is commemorated.

Sovereigns. The new political party of Boudou, Castro and Mariotto.

In the Mugica Cultural Space, located in Piedras at 720, the leaders will detail the intention of this new party that also includes figures such as Fernanda Vallejos, the deputy who tried to squat President Alberto Fernández after the defeat in the PASO; Hernan Arbizu; Mempo Giardinelli; Cecilia Roth; Pedro Peretti; Jorge Elbaum; and the Frente Milagro Sala.

The announcement comes after the three former officials repeatedly speak out against the government’s measures.

About the news, Alicia Castro explained in AM750: “It is a space that we conceive as a meeting and debate point. Much debate is missing on our front“, remarked who, since taking office, had shown disagreement with several of his ideas. Even the ambassador had resigned from her post as a diplomat before assuming it, for do not share the foreign policy plan.

The affinity did not return: during the last months, Castro was also in charge of criticizing the decisions of the ruling party and after the PASO he assured that the defeat was caused because “The Kirchnerism that gave him votes is scarcely represented in his policies”.

Regarding the emergence of “Sovereigns”, he said: “It will also be a cultural block to fight the battle of ideas. It seems to us that it is a nucleation of new old colleagues who do not resign ourselves to the state of things, or to the violence of inequality and has many members that I consider very valuable cadres such as Fernanda Vallejos, Hernán Arbizu, Sbatella, Mempo Giardinelli “.

On the ideas they propose, he published on his Twitter account: “Political sovereignty, economic sovereignty, cultural sovereignty, scientific and technological sovereignty, digital sovereignty, agricultural sovereignty, territorial, maritime, insular, Antarctic sovereignty; sovereignty of our Natural Resources.”

The relationship of the three space referents with the ruling party

Both Mariotto, Boudou and Castro, considered Peronists, unite because of their lack of affinity with the Alberto Fernández government and its policies.

Amado Boudou, who served as Minister of the Economy, pointed out on several occasions his criticisms regarding the way in which Martín Guzmán is carrying out the renegotiation of debt with the National Monetary Fund.

In this sense, a few weeks ago he shot: “You cannot negotiate this as if nothing had happened. That is why the political attitude of Alberto Fernández to explain this situation in the world is very important.”

In addition, he was present on the Peronist Loyalty Day, accompanying and celebrating Hebe de Bonafini, who fired hard at the president: “I want to tell the President that this act of Loyalty Day for the non-payment of the debt is the start of a fight until we manage to not pay the debt, because we don’t owe anything“was the strong message to the president.

Mariotto, for his part, was able to highlight a few days before the general elections his concern about communication and the media law.

Last Thursday, he publicly demanded Alberto Fernández to discuss it again: “President, please, communication is a right, we need a law”, said.

Faced with this situation, he made it clear that the role of the current administration is not close to what it intended with the exit of that law. “The Government has not understood that it is essential to discuss the democratization of the media“he lashed out.
