The police conducted intensive searches with sniffer dogs in the areas around the Chennai Chepakkam stadium, where the 3rd ODI between India and Australia will be held tomorrow.
A search was conducted on vehicles, canal tanks etc. parked near the ground.
As both the teams were engaged in intense net practice, the fans gathered through the perimeter wall to see if the players could be seen. Also, cricket jerseys and Indian national flags are selling briskly near the ground.
In view of the competition, it has been announced that Bells Road, Bharati Road, Walaja Road, Kamarajar Road will be changed from 12 noon to 10 pm tomorrow.
