According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred during the early hours of Saturday, on Vicente Guerrero Boulevard in the Renacimiento neighborhood, near the Coppel Zapata department store, where gunshots were heard.
This happened after two men shot tourists from Mexico City who were waiting for a car from the Blablacar transportation application to return to their place of origin.

Upon receiving the alert, different police corporations arrived at the scene and found two men on the asphalt injured by gunshot wounds. They were treated by paramedics and immediately transferred to a hospital for medical attention.
In the same place, a woman of approximately 55 years of age was also found dead after being shot, her body being hugged by her granddaughter, who was lamenting the death of her grandmother.

After that, experts from the State Attorney General’s Office carried out the corresponding investigations, and in the area they located more than ten spent firearm casings.
