Methil Devika shares her views on marriage and married life. Devika said that breaking up both her marriages was a very painful experience.
She also said that sometimes she feels that the idea of being with someone for the rest of her life is true. But Devika also opined that this will not be the case with everyone. Devika was speaking on the talk show I am with Dhanya Varma.
‘Two marriages are like two births. For a woman, she will give herself completely when it comes to a relationship. It is very difficult to go through such an experience twice in one life. So two divorces were a very traumatic experience for me.
Now, sometimes I think the old principles are the best. As the Sanghamira literature says, ‘one for one, one for one’ and so on. It has its own merits.
When it doesn’t, it can ruin the lives of sensitive individuals like me for nothing. will disturb us greatly. That may not be the case with everyone. It was about people like me.
If you don’t want that to happen again, you have to be detached. I’m not like that, I’m not a pragmatic person. I always feel the need to ask God for something. I want to ask God why He gave me so much trouble in marriage when He gave me everything.
I’m not talking about people I’ve been in relationships with, just relationships. Two relationships and a divorce, nothing has been easy for me. So I would not advise anyone to have multiple relationships.
