Idealista assures that 13% of the homes that were rented through its portal during June were not even 24 hours on the market, which recalls that this percentage is lower than that registered in October, when it reached 15%.
The cities of Lugo and Girona are those with the highest percentage of ‘express’ rentals, since 21% of the households that were rented in June in both cities did not even last 24 hours in idealista, the real estate portal has highlighted.
They are followed by the cities of Huelva and Vitoria, with 18% in both cases, Tarragona (17%), San Sebastián, Zaragoza, Logroño and Castellón de la Plana (16% in the 4 cities).
Below the national average (13%) is Madrid, which shares the ‘express rental rate’ with Valencia, Toledo, Palencia, Almería, Ciudad Real, Burgos, Seville and Jaén, all of them with 12%.
According to the idealista spokesman, Francisco Iñareta, “these data show the enormous tension in the rental market in Spain, where the lack of available supply continues to be noted.”
