“One million cancer diagnoses not performed during covid pandemic”

One million missed cancer diagnoses and 56% fewer HIV diagnoses than in the previous three years. These are just some of the negative effects of the pandemic on non-Covid patients only for 2020.

This is what emerges from the study of The Bridge Foundation with the University of Pavia, Intexo and Simeu, presented during the meeting “The impact of the pandemic on non-covid patients”.
